They will never be taken seriously without actions. It’s just a formalized complaint at this point.

Free Republic was way out in front on secession. Looks like the rest of the country is waking up.

How would Old Glory look with 30 stars instead of 50? I think they got this backwards. The 20 seceding states ARE the United States of America.
The other 30 are the United State of America.

The names on the petitions will be forwarded to the IRS for audits and the TSA for the no-fly list.

White House website deluged with secession petitions from 20 states LOL! Okay, I'm as much for the exercise of this Inherent Right as anyone else, but....really?
First, 'citizens' can't petition the federal government to leave the Union.
Second, NO ONE has to 'ask' for their permission in the first place.
Third, it would have to be a written, legal document with legal verbiage such as Notice of Intent, Declaration of Secession, or (my personal favorite) Notification of Breach of Contract.
It would have to be submitted by the entity of the State, because the States that are the parties TO the compact.
If people want to leave the US, they can expatriate themselves. Haven't looked into the subject very much, but supposedly you get sent to your last 'nation of origin'.
Luckily for me, mine's the Republic of Texas. :-)

So they went to the mailbox and 25,000 people held their breath to learn of the necessary response from the White House on their sessesion petition. The official envelope was carefully opened, the pristine page of White House stationery was extracted, unfolded and read. From the crowd of 25,000, a lone voice asks the question, “What did he say?” And the answer was given, “He said “no’,” replied the official. And 25,000 people went home hoping soon another hope would appear to hope for.

Government does not relinquish power because of the pen!
The pen ONLY becomes mightier than the sword when it brings people to the conclusion that they must take up arms against the ruling elite.
Maybe someday, before the unionized communist teachers remove all his writings from the American conscience, the words of Thomas Jefferson will be taken seriously.
The filth, staining every segment of our Federal government have even publicly stated, that “the free market is a joke and power comes from the barrel of a gun”. That’s liberal anti-2nd amendment scum speaking folks. Read their lips. Anita Dunn said this along with Ron Bloom at separate events. Of course they were quoting one of their favorite politicians, Mao. You know that mass murderer who Anita Dunn looks to for guidance.
Their is not enough industrial strength Janitor In a Drum, to clean our government buildings after this filth is finally removed from their dictatorship.
If I were elected President today, I’d rather stay at a Motel 6 then sleep in the bedroom that was infested with this POS and his wookie wife.

secession petitions from 20 states
Wrong!
They are petitions from individuals or groups in 20 states.
As of this morning, not one state of the 50 or even the 57 have held votes on secession. Unless and until they do, those reporting such petitions need to be a bit more professional in their words.

What’s the sense in asking for permission froma lawless regime? The Cofederate States had more guts than the petioners; they seceeded and THEN told the Yankee government.
You may disagree all you want, but they had the courage of their convictons, something sorely lacking today. We can complain all we want from the safety (for now) of our keyboards, but would we take action?
IF SECESSION NOT, THEN REVOLUTION MUST
