We have plenty of them in Virginia, too. They’re the most overpriced grocery store I know if (thanks, union). Items routinely cost twice the price other stores charge.
Are you familiar with Kroger's pricing system? Essentially they price goods according to your ability to pay, based on the economic make-up of the area. We pay through the nose where I live.
