The Fiscal Cliff Is a Good Thing

The entire discussion of the "fiscal cliff" has things a bit backward. People talk of "going off" the fiscal cliff -- and the natural image is of the disaster that awaits one who tumbles from the edge of a precipice. Instead, perhaps we should say "running into" the fiscal cliff -- the cliff being a force that stops a tumble. The term "fiscal cliff" refers to the combination of two major policy changes due to go into effect in January 2013:

* The sequester. Because the (not-so-)Super Committee succumbed to partisan paralysis and couldn't come up with anything better, the sequester will begin making automatic spending cuts across domestic discretionary (50 billion per year) and defense (50 billion per year) programs.

* The Bush and Obama tax cuts expire. The Bush tax cuts increased the deduction for children, cut marginal tax rates, and cut dividend and capital gains tax rates. The Obama tax cut reduced the amount workers pay for Social Security without reducing benefits. In addition, a Medicare "doc fix," which increased reimbursements for hospitals, is due to expire.

Running into a cliff isn't fun. It would raise nearly everyone's taxes. It would cut spending on most of the programs everyone uses. It would temporarily raise unemployment rates. But the fiscal cliff would back us away from a true disaster scenario, and it would slow the growth of the government debt.

I say they’ve got it wrong, this isn’t the type of cliff you run into, but one you run off of.

“Jump! Jump! Jump!”

And it would raise the taxes on the proletariat who voted for this disaster by an amount that would be painful.

Bring it. Bring it now in all its glory and pain. I hope it comes and I hope it hurts.

It won’t though. The political class will find a way to hurt the minimum number, punish the top EARNERS and protect the maximum number of stupid voters at any expense.

The political class are protected. They take their money from the EARNERS and in amounts that protect them from all risks. They are protected from the risk of inflation and rising taxes by preserving their net by growing their gross incomes from the taxpayer. They will see to it that their fake seats are protected. They are nothing but whores.

Are you prepared for the “One Hour Meltdown”?
It won’t be pretty. Make sure to read the link about the occurrence at the grocery store when the EBTs stopped working.

Just remember that everything on the Obama agenda is designed to drive a wedge between the poor and the rest of the country in an effort to turn them into a unified action group - not for voting, but for revolution.

It used to be the President and other politicians had an incentive to at least try to keep the economy in good shape because it was necessary to keep hold of power. Now that we know 51% of America will blindly vote for a Democratic President even if he plainly fails by the economic standards he himself laid out, rising unemployment and misery are just opportunities to make more people dependent. Of course, eventually the well runs dry and those people will see their precious handouts reduced, but by then there won’t really be a choice so they’ll just take what they can get and accept it as the new normal.

Volunteers
- Jefferson Airplane

Look what’s happening out in the streets
Got a revolution Got to revolution

Hey I’m dancing down the streets
Got a revolution Got to revolution

Ain’t it amazing all the people I meet
Got a revolution Got to revolution

One generation got old
One generation got sold
This generation got no destination to hold
Pick up the cry

Hey now it’s time for you and me
Got a revolution Got to revolution

Come on now we’re marching to the sea
Got a revolution Got to revolution

Who will take it from you
We will and who are we
We are volunteers of America

I tend to think about things in small terms. It is easier that way for me.

My little company for example. If I pay everyone and only half generate revenue it will end.

This country will end.

The sooner the better.

The communists will never let a cure to the fiscal cliff happen. They will continue to drive Americans into the lower than poor class and laugh. So don’t get our hopes up to high. The GOP is just as bad as the communists Democrats.

I am a newbie in the field of “prepping”, but I attempted to read One Hour Meltdown as objectively as I could. Seemed very far fetched to me. Every banker, politician, etc. in America being sequestered to various secret locations at the same time? Paranoid much?

It’s not that some “master planner” has this in mind for them and will whisk them away during the “one hour”.

It’s that all those “in the know”, and they DO know that this is coming,
have their own individual plans in place and will execute them when the time comes.

What this is saying is, THEY have a plan, and so should YOU.
