It’s true that we haven’t heard from Paula Broadwell for awhile. When and under what circumstances was her driver’s license found?

She had been out jogging that morning and surprised news people when she came back to the house.

Couple of days ago, in a DC park. Press reports indicated she was in the area visiting friends last weekend (probably an effort to evade the press). Her North Carolina driver’s license was found in the park and turned over to local police. In a rather interesting twist, the cops plan to give it to the FBI (as I recall), instead of following the normal protocol of shipping it to the NC DMV.

As far as I know, Ms. Broadwell has not been seen publicly in days, and neither has her family. When the FBI searched her home in Charlotte Monday evening, no one was home. They carried away boxes of documents, after government officials said her affair with David Petraeus did not compromise national security. Now, the press has been told that Broadwell had “extensive” amounts of classified data in her home.
