Obama Or America--Clarity On Irreconcilable Differences
Truth Based Logic ^ | November 15, 2012 | William Flax

From a Conservative perspective, the election, November 6th, was a disaster. This American, as literally tens of millions of others, spent several days in near despondency, not only over the result, but over a successful methodology employed to distract, undermine, smear & intimidate, to provide victory to a man whose whole adult life has been an exercise in disrespect for our principles, customs, heritage & peoples. Yet the fog cleared, and with it any doubt about the road ahead.

KEYWORDS: america; constitution; election; obama
From the perspective of a many decade battle against the forces promoting an egalitarian collectivist attack upon our heritage & values, this is an immediate approach to the road ahead. You will not find in it, any indication of a desire to quit or abandon any of our principles. The present crisis does not result from anything wrong with the America that is being dismantled. Rather, precisely the opposite.

We can win, decisively win, debates that we have not even been having, because so many on our side stop to temporize with the absurdity, being promoted by a complex of quacks in Academia & the Media.

The approach urged in the article will work to increase our base. [Obama Or America--Clarity On Irreconcilable Differences]

When Democrats turn the whole country into Detroit, people will wake up.

Waking up is a step by step process. Somethings wake up more people than others. But the ongoing battle is a day-in, day-out, proposition.

There were people in Cincinnati, who understood what was happening to Detroit in the 1940s. They sent their sons & daughters to eastern colleges, already corrupted by Leftist theorists, so the awareness was not translated properly.

We need to always consider how to better hone our approach--never get smug, and think we can rely on past efforts. Or imagine that what is obvious to us, is obvious to those who are being deliberately misled by demagogues & crack-pot theorists, pursuing fantasy wish-lists.

Not necessarily. "Eastasia has always been at war with Oceana." 1984.

The MSM already support President Obama ideologically and practically. Add in some government subsidies "to save journalism" and a couple of executive orders to prevent news "anarchy" on the internet, and we are there.

Here is another brief excerpt from the article:

Secondly, we need to focus our policy attacks on those who actually advocate things which conflict philosophically with the fundamental principles of our Constitutional Republic. If you really understand those principles, you will also understand why those principles gave America her greatest pace of economic growth. Grounded in actual experience, the Founders' philosophy grew out of a real understanding of the human potential; as opposed to the philosophy of every Leftist movement, where the advocacy is driven by personal wish lists, never by what actually works.

I know how discouraged most of us are, today. It is not a feeling we can ever be content with. We must all Pray, reflect, regroup & return to action.

Your comments show an understanding of how the enemy plays the "game."

You offer reasons why we dare not wait for events to simply alarm & motivate. Each of us, who understands this, needs to make preserving & restoring our way of life, the top priority.

people will wake up

I just realized that the people will not wake up - even when the Dims start tearing up our Constitution, the people will not wake up.

And I'm an optimistic person. But I am also realistic.

What we need to focus on, is ways to wake them up. This requires both a full understanding or how human societies function well, and how they do not function well. It also requires approaches that are able to get the public attention away from the distractions of the entertainment industry, which at the higher levels is not only a distraction, but a propaganda factory for the Left.

Parents also need to challenge their school aged children to recognize the logical fallacies that are now openly promoted in the educational systems. Consider a touch of Socratic technique in this--not that the idiocy being taught needs a Socratic genius to refute, but the technique is helpful. (See "Social Justice"--What Is Not Social & Not Just.

However desperate our plight may seem, it is not so desperate as to justify surrender to lies, treason or insanity.

Here is another excerpt:

But in civilian concerns, coordinating large numbers may be totally counter-productive--the very opposite of cost-effective problem solving. There is an inherent flaw in a distant bureaucracy's intrusion into unique, intimate & immediate local problems. Worse, yet, such intrusion can only work against the continuity of local traditions & the continuity of the idiosyncratic norms of diverse communities. It is an dangerous step towards the monolithic thought control that distinguished the great totalitarian powers of the 20th Century. It is always a limitation on the freedom of action. But to continue the original point, it is seldom cost effective for the supposed purpose.

This is followed by discussion of Federal involvement in local education & health care.

I'm too depressed about this whole mess to even think about it, but I fear you're right...

The way to fight off depression over what is happening is to do what you can, each day, to wake up a few other people. You have to pick your issues, depending on what you know about the person you are trying to reach. (I do not mean misrepresenting anything--that is the sort of dishonesty that has led to this mess. We need to counter lies with truth; efforts to force wish driven fantasies down our throats, with logical discussion of just how real people interact with other real people--both wisely and foolishly.)

The Conservative's most powerful weapon is always the truth. We are seeking to preserve what is valid, real; what works for the benefit of a people--never the wishes that drive the Left's useful idiots; never the hate that drives the hard core Left.

We must fight on, for the future they are offering us is not tolerable to free or decent people.
