Looks like Wisconsin as well. This was posted on Gov. Walker's facebook page today:
Governor Scott Walker
A state health exchange is SINO (state in name only). To protect hard working taxpayers, we defer to federal exchange: http://ow.ly/flOqq
This is good news. If the Feds want to screw the country, don’t expect help from conservative states. The state exchanges are a misnomer; the Feds via the HHS will have total control. The Federal exchanges have no current funding mechanism unless the House offers up a spending bill and appropriates funds. The state exchanges are funded by the Feds with the states responsible for most of the funding in later years. Sounds familiar?
Let’s see how the bankrupt blue states handle this monster. Let’s see the credit ratings for the stupid states drop and internecine fighting between Leftist interest groups. Let’s watch the education unions vs healthcare lobbyists while taxpayers and businesses flee to red states w/o state exchanges. The federal exchanges will take a long time to set up and court challenges will continue.
You are spot on right and well said.
