Still remember the photo of a Palestinian caught in some city street crossfire. The pic made headlines and a story grew around it. A story of how this man has to protect his daughter from Israeli gunfire or perhaps it was 'ours' (whatever).

A sympathy story; nonetheless; and we know who the 'victim' was. Only problem; it could not have been more clear; more obvious; that this Father was using the child; as a shield for his own protection.

Of course; the propagandized version served better; the narrative; and no one challenged it.

Someone here; probably remembers this - and better than I per actual details. But the images shared here; nail the reality; as in the 'truth of the matter'.
