One kilometer would be adequate.
Four or five tanks/howitzers should be set up abreast and begin firing into the zone. The firing should begin at the waters edge and progress to the border fence. At the conclusion, there should be nothing but cratered and smoldering dirt.
Then the guns should be moved to the geographical center of Gaza and the process begun again. After destroying a swath 200 meters deep stop. This is a warning. Everything is vulnerable. stop that crap or we will destroy it all.
The rubble will be overflown wit cropdusters dispensing salt. Nothing will grow in Gaza again.
Why not make the vessels vanish in a matter of minutes without allowing them even to call for help?
One B2 from Diego Garcia drops 2 X 2000 lb JDAMS per vessel, simultaneously. Apply this for a convoy of more than two ships.
