Spirit Airlines' flight attendants plan to rally outside four airports across the country Monday through Wednesday, including at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, to protest the slow pace of negotiations with management for a "fair contract."
The flight attendants are expected to stage informational pickets at the ticketing counter in Terminal 4 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday, and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, the group's union.

I've noticed that on my last couple of trips. LOL
Last week my Jet Blue flight from Boston-DFW in the back overheard the gay male and no so cute female attendants were discussing a gay marriage event coming up. She was a real B too. Gosh I hate flying these days.
Oh yeah, the Miami news is running some very feminine sounding male talking about how unfair the evil managers of Spirit are.
CHAOS (which stands for Creating Havoc Around Our System) is a trademarked strategy used by the Association of Flight Attendants aka AFA. Flight attendants on a specific flight get a call just prior to boarding that they are on strike. It is very effective as there are usually no flight attendants to cover a flight at an outstation. There may be just a few that are called but it does cause MAJOR chaos as there is a snowball effect in that other flights will have to be cancelled.
Good to hear that Spirit Airlines is in such sound financial shape that they can afford to antagonize their customers.
Same with LAX.
From what I’ve seen of flight attendants these days they’re worthless. Fire them and eliminate that position. Have the ticket person read the safety drill before gathering tickets.
