We should be the takers, motivated people who know hard work would be able to take a LOT more than lazy leeches and we can collapse things faster and start the reset sooner.
I guess I’ll mark you down as undecided.. gulp.. :/
It’s “idle”, not “idol”. Two totally different words, meanings.
If you’re going to take pen to paper/fingers to keyboard to sway minds, master the basics, goddamnit.
Otherwise....good post. Bump.
Good, thoughtful thread, thanks.

Talk IS CHEAP..............
Let’s SEE some ACTION!
Your assessment is accurate.
We have seen the scales tip but the Remnant must remain faithful until all is fullfilled.
We lament and rejoice simultaneously as we draw breath!
An interesting thing: I’m not naturally a thankful person, so when I experience true thankfulness I’m in awe of it as a gift from God! I’m not a good person. But when God intervenes I experience His goodness and get a lift.
I relate to a line in Shakespeare: “But we worldly men have miserable, mad, mistaking eyes!” Apart from the gift of revelation from Him, we’re toast.
God has blessed me with much. And I am thankful for that. But tomorrow, when I give thanks, for the first time I will not express thanks for the country I live in. The country I was thankful for is gone.
What’s really sad? Welfare is never enough to break free. Yes. The recipients survive, but they do not thrive. They are unlikely to ever know their true potential.
I always find some things about life sad. When I grew up as a kid, building small houses, forts, and treehouses in the woods was a fun pasttime, sadly, it seems a lot more uncommon in this rising generation. It’s pretty sad, nothing like living life with a little craftsmanship. That being said, though, I have a great new life to be thankful for with marriage and a child along the way, plus a wonderful wife, who shares a similar constructive, crafty, interest that compliments mine. These are the two great things I have to be thankful for right now, plus more. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you Freepers out there too!
At least your comment on the article shows promise.
I look forward hopefully to see Jesus come again, because I would absolutely love to share the good news that he’s back. I have a somewhat optimistic view that whomever is left and remained faithful up until that point will have a lot to do in that regard.
The last 4 years have been difficult for me, but I have plenty to be thankful for—and I am. I have enough sense not to take anyone or anything for granted.
we must remember that the war has already been won
death conquered and our salvation purchased with the blood of christ on the cross
satan is the master of lies and deception and loves despair and hopelessness
do not let him win
the battle is for souls. it is only with christian kindness and love of neighbor that hearts will be changed
Cheer up,the good people are still here. The worthless debris of humanity is still here too,as they were before.Life goes forward, and God has a plan.
Idols are quite idle, and much of the idle class have an idol named Barack Hussein Obama.
Thats quite a clever line!
Amen!
