I wrote my master’s essay on the need for ballistic missile defense ( I was in the Poli Sci Dept). My liberal professor tried block my graduation, fortunately he was over-ruled by the majority on my graduating committee. Yes, it is virtually impossible to be public about your conservatism in many of our nation’s universities. We did succeed in establising a CR chapter and successfully fought the PIRG from taking student dues. Much tougher now I suppose to confront the Left.
I studied poly sci too. One of my professors disliked me intensely because I didn’t nod and `amen’ at the right times during the catechism, in fact I was way out of the conservative closet (as it were).
