It’s an osmotic stratification process, so moving “redder” is always good, but the first and best results will be from turning red deeper red, and making these states bastions of freedom and examples of success.

Nah. No need. Better strategy would be for conservatives in blue or red states (in that priority order) to infiltrate and turn purple states like Ohio, Colorado, Florida, etc into red states. Of course it would take a long time and require a large number of people willing to do it. But this is what the dems are doing - perhaps not be design. DC liberals moving into VA and turning it purple / blue.

Not saying this is any sort of answer but we need to be thinking outside the box.
