That covers a lot of territory my friend. You know what I have in common with the solid deep blue West side of Chicago? Absolutely nothing. I’d love to be able to secede from there. What do I have in common with San Francisco, LA, Detroit, or Cleveland? Absolutely nothing.

I say good riddance to them. Let them drown in their own filth.

Secession is not a practical or realistic solution. People who find the USA to be intolerable should emigrate. It's simply masochistic for such people to stay in the USA and dream of secession.

The Confederados, did not stay here and suffer. They moved to Brazil, a place that they thought was better and a place where they could honor their own heritage.

Check out this very short video. As one Confederado points out, they are the most Southern people in the world. And, unlike the folks who stayed in the USA, they are the only truly unreconstructed Confederates left in the world.
