For me, its still waaay too early to get into the Christmas spirit, but I feel it coming on nonetheless. Funny, the worst year in years, and I feel far more "Christmas-y" than I have in years. I don't try to scorn the corny stuff anymore, I just succumb, and of course don't let in overshadow the true meaning of Christmas.
I started Christmas way early this year - it was necessary to break me out of the post-election funk. It also helped that I put in for that transfer at work. I really hope I get it but if not, it puts me in play for other opportunities that should get me out of this state (Massachusetts).
