I was simply thinking of whether there will be any “I told you so’s” in heaven - looking down on those that didnt make it and saying “neener-neener” or the like. Personally I dont think so, but that as you say is my call.
If I am in heaven, that should be enough for me. If Obama happens to get there too, it shouldn’t matter to me if I read the parable of the workers in the vineyard correctly.
For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.”
I’m sure you know how the rest of Matthew 20:1-16 works out.
No. There will be no neener-neeners in Heaven. What I fully believe is at the Bema seat for reward, in the flash of an eye, Jesus Christ will let us see our entire lives and every opportunity that we missed to share the Gospel of Grace. At that point, we will then know where we failed Him. I don’t think He is going to be sitting there and flipping through some book of deeds. It will be in His flash instant that we will be shown our failures. Where if we had only opened our mouths and said something. AND, that because we missed that chance, that person may have missed out on a chance at salvation. That is one prayer that I have asked God to forgive me for and NOT to hold my failing to say something that it be held against that person because of my failure. If that person rejected after hearing some other way, then it is on him. But, I asked that they not be held responsible for my failure to do what I should have done. I am sure we all are going to have many, many of those flash through our minds along with all the other stuff He will bring up.
Thanks for the discussion.
Take care
