>> What John Boehner should be doing now is preparing his ...
...resignation.
Amen!
I think we are.
BTW, I just saw some man-on-the-street interviews on Fox. The question? "What is the fiscal cliff?"
And, well... No one knew what it was. It's easy to see how the media controls the sheep. But I can't say the sheep don't deserve what they get.
Unfortunately, we have to go down with the ship too.
An alternative strategy would be to hold the fort, not vote for any tax increases and heavily cut the budget.
Everyone knows Boehner is going to cave. Also, he’s just purged serious tea partiers from major committees and has only his RINO toadies in the leadership and among the committee chairs.
People know from past experience not only that Boehner will cave, but that even while he’s posturing publicly before doing so closer to the practical deadline—he’s already secretly working with Obama to figure how he can get what Obama wants past his delegation.
I agree 100%. But there's a 1% chance of it happening. Call me a hopeless optimist.
Are they afraid of losing the layabout vote?
Can you hear us now?
What a crock of festering worms! Call the DIMs’ bluff. This BS is never-ending because it is always the-end-of-the-world if we don’t give in to the DIMs. Let’s go! Hold on tight! Enough of this repetitive BS.
By fighting to cut them. I know it's an almost-impossible battle, but he's not even trying. I've lost patience with him. He's accepted the Democrats' premises and is just negotiating how much we're willing to give up.
Shut 'er down!
