I just don’t get this ridiculous hating on Boehner. If someone has an alternative strategy, I’d love to hear it.

I basically said the same thing. ANYONE in Boehner’s position would be in the exact same position with the exact same choices....which he doesn’t make...Same ole....kill the messenger.

An alternative strategy would be to hold the fort, not vote for any tax increases and heavily cut the budget.

Everyone knows Boehner is going to cave. Also, he’s just purged serious tea partiers from major committees and has only his RINO toadies in the leadership and among the committee chairs.

People know from past experience not only that Boehner will cave, but that even while he’s posturing publicly before doing so closer to the practical deadline—he’s already secretly working with Obama to figure how he can get what Obama wants past his delegation.
