There isn’t a damn thing Boehner can do. The Dems have the Senate AND the Presidency. The President is a pr*** and doesn’t give a damn.

I'm old enough to remember when the Democrat Party ran the entire U.S. government structure from the House of Representatives.
For 40 years.
He could wage a half way competent P.R. campaign. That’s what politicians are supposed to be good at after all.
The way he’s going Republicans will end up hating him and Americans will hate the Republicans.
The House should negotiate with the Senate, not the President.
Let Harry Reid deal with Obama. Boehner should be dealing with McConnell and Reid. Leave Obama on the outside until the Congress aligns on a compromise first.
Then let Obama have a whack at it.
Otherwise, Boehner is bringing Obama into Congressional deliberations, a place where Obama does not belong. All Boehner is doing is giving Obama a platform to look presidential, and letting Reid and the Senate off the hook.

The House can refuse to give in on spending and hold the real fat chip “debt ceiling” without significant spending cuts.
