Yup. This is what Mo Dowd actually wrote! I don't think she meant for it to come out that way. In Dowd's analogy the "great civilization" being destroyed is the GOP, but she accidentally states the truth: The Obama win is America being destroyed from within by overpromising entitlements to all of the grievance/dependency groups Dowd lists.

Where was her editor to protect her from herself? Laid off probably.

Dowd also predicts the following:

“But history will no doubt record that withering Republicans were finally wiped from the earth in 2016 when the relentless (and rested) Conquistadora Hillary marched in, General Bill on a horse behind her, and finished them off.”

Again with the labels. Black people, brown people, gay people etc.

Whatever happened to .... hold on to your hats .... treating people as just people?

By creating categories of people the left divides them, dehumanizes them, and marginalizes them. But they are too stupid to see it or too evil to admit it.

"a stubborn refusal to adapt to a world where poor people and sick people and black people and brown people and female people and gay people count"

Any article beginning with a sentence this stupid should be grounds for dismissal

But this is an arm of the Democrap Propaganda Ministry, so she is actually doing a perfect job.

The republicans will indeed decline to oblivion because the last republican cojone shrunk into nothingness years ago.

However, the NYT will go the way of the Yugo before the repubs do...and the reason for that will be a total lack of any measurable IQ.

As for conservatism, we will rise from the ashes following CW-II.

Black people, brown people, poor people and women people count but that does not mean they have rights to what I produce. They have the right to produce for themselves and keep their produce so butt out and leave my property alone.

Interesting opinion piece but mostly made up of lies. But that’s what liberals do - lie.

Ho hum.

If we discard morality and substitute for it the Collectivist doctrine of unlimited majority rule, if we accept the idea that a majority may do anything it pleases, and that anything done by a majority is right because it’s done by a majority (this being the only standard of right and wrong)—how are men to apply this in practice to their actual lives? Who is the majority? In relation to each particular man, all other men are potential members of that majority which may destroy him at its pleasure at any moment. Then each man and all men become enemies; each has to fear and suspect all; each must try to rob and murder first, before he is robbed and murdered. The sad thing as I take the time to put this response together there will be at least 30 vacuous responses to your posting. Few will get or understand what the Obama policy on energy and the high cost of it is all about.
.
Dowd’s right during the campaign did Romney go after this Obama policy which affects those Dowd aformentioned “demographics”? It’s the OPbama energy policy

You have a regime which by design go after a basic , as did Stalin do with the Kulacks with the distrubution of food. Which knowingly would drive up the costs and uses of all forms of energy creation and application using a pseudo scientific premise because it suited a socialist living style change matrix. Which by the way the Romney campaign did mention oncem but that was it.

Beside driving basic costs by prohibiting or regulating fuels which are used to create energy supply in all sources into unaffordable costs to the poor and downtrodden..Energy our most basic resource is being choked to support that concept . What’s even worse was the massive corrpution resulting from that regime doling out tons of funds towards its campaign donners for so called alternate forms which don’t work or are laughingly inefficient .

That pass by the Romney campaign was a huge mistake because this policy still remains intact and affects everyone. It is was a bread a butter issue that they didn’t want to to touch.

Instead of smallpox, plagues, drought and Conquistadors, the Republican decline will be traced to a stubborn refusal to adapt to a world where poor people and sick people and black people and brown people and female people and gay people count. As the historian Will Durant observed, "A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within."

Maureen, Maureen, Maureen..., there are people from each of these groups in the Republican party. And they came to the Republican party in part because we didn't single them out as in need of special attention.

These are not mentally deficient people here. These are people who are self-starters, and hard workers. They don't need anyone to kiss their ass. They provide for themselves, and think everyone should.

Now you sit down Maureen, take a few deep breaths, and try to gather your faculties together enough to grasp this.

...the Republican decline will be traced to a stubborn refusal to adapt to a world where poor people and sick people and black people and brown people and female people and gay people count.

Never in my life have I heard a Republican state that his policies were just for me, a Caucasian male. I have heard them present ideas, but those ideas appealed to anyone who wanted a job, and needed to provide for their family.

Which of the above groups does Maureen think Republican politicians single out when they present sound policy? If they're advocating strong defense, is that at the expense of women? No, it's actually for women too. When a Republican advocates for less regulation so there will be more jobs, is that to the exclusion of businesses that would hire Blacks? When a Republican advocates better schools, is that to the exclusion of schools with homosexuals in them?

Maureen, you're such a dumb ass. You should be heralding the fact that Republicans see everyone as equal. Instead you're trashing the party for not seeing everyone different.

You're a loser Maureen.

What people have to keep in mind about Maureen Dowd is that she’s just the latest in a long line of radical feminist scribblers who were only hired because they were wacky, leftist females. Like the moron before her, Anna Quindlen, Dowd is just another snarky, rad-feminist ideologue who quite unable to compose a coherent sentence. She doesn’t understand the country she was born in, and she never will.

I’m sure the suck-ups at the New York Times would tell Democrats they needed to become more like Republicans when they lose an election. Well, not really... it’s not that the MSM is a biased hateful knee jerk liberal elite group that’s a ‘blame whitey firster’ - nope it’s that they have a double standard and they’re braindead.
