Former DNC Chairman Howard Dean says Republicans will have to change their philosophy and not just their ground game in order to win in the future.
Dean says conservatives can not sell hate of women, gays and immigrants and expect to win elections.

Dean and the Dems sell crazy to people who buy crazy. That’s all they got. They are all a bunch of crack-heads. Reality doesn’t mean anything to them.

Someone of stature needs to make a memorable statement against these tactics...a speech less than 3 minutes from a likable charismatic person. It needs to go viral. We have to start taking on these false attacks because the race card, anti-woman, anti-gay, anti-immigrant narrative has set in, and it just cost our country in a way we may never recover.

There is only one person on the planet with the power and prestige who can do this and its President George W. Bush. I commend him for quietly retiring to Texas and enjoying his long earned retirement. However, if Palin said such a thing, Romney said such a thing, and so on, the words would simply be ridiculed and ignored. Only President Bush can do it at this point, and it will not happen.
That said, I believe strongly that it is time for us to strongly, vociferously, and passionately define our views on social justice, fairness, women's rights, children's rights, and the rights of the elderly. The democrats are incredibly vulnerable as their whole power base is built on a house of cards, and they truly are the patty of elitism. They are like overripe plums waiting to be plucked. We, on the other hand, have let them characterize us, falsely. That has to stop, and we have to aggressively stop it.

I acknowledged in my post that he would not. However, he is the only person who can speak with clarity and unity on this matter without any fear of ridicule or mockery. He might be mocked, but the left already knows he doesnt care and wouldn’t hide on account of them, and that makes his words powerful. It wont happen, and we need someone else.
