State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.
Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

Lanza’s Facebook Friends are “unfriending” him at a record rate. Fortunately, I screen-grabbed his Friends List right after they announced his name on the news. If anyone wants it to post (I don’t use any hosting sites.), let me know.
Ummm, noooo....it was in Bath, Michigan about 20 miles NE of Lansing. I grew up about 50 miles NW of there in the 50's and NEVER knew about it until ten years ago.
We just chopped down a couple of trees two weeks ago at Peacock Road Farm, just outside Bath. Great place to take kids, it was swarming with 180 of 'em while we were there.

And this is why I don’t jump on the ‘lynch ‘em’ bandwagon. Get confirmation that we’re all looking at the right guy before we go plastering his picture all over the web and speculating about every FB post he’s made over the last four years.
Sheesh. You’d think that people would’ve learned from the misidentification of the Colorado shooter as a Tea Party member. Poor guy was eviscerated by the public and had to disconnect his phone.
Twitter account Ryan_Lanza may be him. Lots of tweets about losing his best friend, depression, hoping the world ends in two weeks and one that says f*** parents.
If so, he'll get over it right fast since he is alive and the real shooter is dead.
From what I hear on the scanner, the most pressing problem is the crush of hysterical media people trying to get into the area.

You are correct. This one will hurt us all bad. These sons of bitches that do this shit are a true nightmare in so many ways.
Timing coming off the election win and their recent belief in their demographic gains. You add that in with the victims being children and the response they believe they will get from women in general after this. Just FEEL it though to be honest.
