Labor unions are nothing more than government supported, socialist “protection” rackets.
And we all know the reason they are government supported is because they can legally extort money from workers and employers and use that money to buy off the crooks in political office.
If labor unions were not permitted to finance political campaigns or pump money to politicians in other ways they would disappear from the landscape in another generation.
What the hell? I guess I misunderstood (and Websters Dictionary misunderstood) what the term Royalties really means.
Even disregarding the terminology... This is obscene. Makes ‘On the Waterfront’ look like a Sunday School class and picnic after services.

In the days of break bulk, the vessel’s Chief Mate would give the hold gang a royalty from the cargo. You can have this much, leave the rest for the consignee. I suspect the “royalty” is intended to reduce the number of “misplaced” containers.
