If the average public is so dumb as to buy what 0 is selling and can’t figure him out, they deserve what they get. But, as usual, we have to suffer with the dim whits.

I humbly offer the following quote from a guy who observed this behavior more than 2,000 years ago:

Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Romes, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious. - Marcus Tullius Cicero (106BC - 43BC)

Right on. It is pretty hard - if not impossible - for the GOP to run on a platform of hard work and liberty when Baraq O'claus is giving away goodies right and left, freedom be damned.

I’m going to use that. Thanks. History repeating itself and not too many read or heed history or they just want the same things people wanted 2,000 years ago - to be taken care of with no responsibilities. Shame.
