Reid passes a bill through the senate to preserve the Bush tax cuts for $250k and below, and then dares the House to reject it? Is it too much to presume that Boehner would be as smart as Reid and simply never bring such a bill to the floor of the House?
If the GOP wishes to survive, they had better pass it. This is playing out very badly.
That is a nonstarter. Tax bills cannot originate in the Senate.
