Just tie any legislation they propose to a co-proposal that mandates strict term limits - including no public office for first degree relatives for one generation. Tell them that this is to address the ‘fear of government’ that was a big reason for the second amendment in the first place. Make it very public that the two are tied. Any legislation linked to term limits in this manner will not go forward.
