Ayres and Dohrn are part of the communist underground so they have a network of judges, politicians and other important people looking out for them. And contrary to what Ayres claims, they really did murder someone—a policeman from San Francisco. Their terrorist group was not discovered till a couple of their group blew themselves up while working on a nail bomb that was going to be used at a dance at a New Jersey fort.
it’s people like you that drive away people from posting articles. I appreciate the link and excerpt of the original poster, I saw it in my RSS FR feed on my desktop and clicked on it. Lo and behold, like many other FR threads, there is a little ninny policing and bemoaning. Seriously, if the mods don’t start putting these ninnies in their place, it will drive many away. It’s distracting from the discussion and serves no purpose other than to stroke the ego of chronic complainers.

there are a bunch of prima donnas running around FR like it is their sacred right to correct excerpts and blog postings as they see fit. Annoying more than anything, just best to ignore them.

Are you upset or someting? Sheesh - you correct someone and try to teach them some posting etiquette, and they go all (excerpt).
They ought to cut the guy some slack on the gun charge, seeing as the gun was empty.
