The following statement does not necessarily represent normal people, but may be familiar to those; afflicted, as I am, with a predisposition towards the visual arts.

In the pursuit of expression, a kind of desperation for relevance and purpose, can take hold of an artist which is so great that the artist will imagine a controversy destine to make him/her the center of attention. It is unfortunate that this has become typical rather than rare and seems a particular condition of illiberalism, expressly pronounced in progressives. In the art world, such a piece as “Hitler praying” will be considered transgressive. In common parlance it is merely an intellectual affluent of postmodern sewage, which in fact needs no visual and adds nothing to culture. Artists’ will often call these pieces, (cough)... challenging or prophetic visions.

P.s. Hey, also, were do I adopt one of those Kitties as seen on the thread:

facebood (Let's have a rousing FR welcome for the Drunken N006) Free Republim

I need a drinking buddy.
