That is the last organization I would be tempted to give money too for ostensibly protecting my second amendment rights.
They have been in existence for the passage of every single “shall not be infringed” gun bill infringing on the second amendment, since NFA 1934.
Four million Americans supporting financially the very organization dependent on government coming for our guns. If the infringing ever stops NRA is out of business, when they should be out of business based on RESULTS!
I never joined them.
The last thing I want to be is on a list of known gun owners.

I know plenty of lifetime NRA members that don’t think like your dad.
Truth is the NRA has lost some battles, and compromising was the only thing that was possible at the time.
Another truth is that our second amendment would have likely suffered far more serious hits had it not been for the NRA.They have done much more to preserve our rights than most of our lawmakers, and unless you’ve already gone Galt, you are paying those bums every day.

I agree on the NRA, if I remember correctly they were in favor of and went along with the last AWB, an have back stabbed gun owners numerous times. I would not piss down the NRA’s throat if it’s guts were on fire. I have put them in the same file as the Republicrat party

The question should be framed thusly as How many tyrants or criminals who pose an imminent threat to life or liberty should I be able to shoot without relading and/or how rapidly?
