If she had a blood clot, from what should have been a minor fall, then she is either in bad shape or this is all a huge lie.

How common is it for a clot to form weeks after an alleged "concussion"?

Any FReeper doctors out there who could comment on the likelihood ?

Hillary’s father died from a stroke so I would wager the initial incident was a stroke, not a concussion.

A traumatic subdural hematoma may develop rather slowly over days. She may have had it for days/weeks before it was diagnosed.

However, treatment with anticoagulants is not consistent with a traumatic subdural hematoma. An embolus that developed from Hillary's frequent globetrotting would be more likely treated with anticoagulants.

No doubt, we have incomplete medical info for this case.

My dad's subdural hematoma symptoms (severe headache) came about three weeks after he banged his head in a fall in the bathroom. It was a slow bleed and it took that long for the accumulation of blood in a pocket to depress his brain by pressing against it. Very serious! He made a full recovery but was "out of it" for weeks and nearly died.
