Same rate? Heck, how about same total amount? That sounds fairest to me. I really never understood why some people have to give more than others. That they have more isn’t a reason. Not a moral one anyway, though practically speaking there are less of them to vote against you.

Balance is the ultimate buzzword dictating socialism. These turds aren’t even hiding their hand any more.

Taxes are going up on everybody. Either that or hours will be cut to 30 hours a week
to avoid ZeroCare. I suppose people need to see it in their checks firsthand.

It’s coming folks.....house control.

After they get through with gun control, thought control, speech control and every other form of control they will come up with “house control.”

They (with the exception of our masters) will pass a bill that states when any family member leaves a privately owned home, the room vacated will be given to someone less fortunate (a Democrat, communist, welfare cheat and other forms of vermin).

A good example of will eventually happen if we follow this path of equal everything is shown in the final stages of the Doctor Zhivago movie when he finally comes back to his home that is his no more.

This is not the country I grew up in and thank God I’m old and won’t have to suffer the loss of freedom much longer

Yep. The rest of the “balanced approach” will be to confiscate savings and retirement plans on all those who have saved more than a few bucks for their retirement(my guess will be more than $50,000)

RE :”Pffft. Like they couldn’t drum up another phoney baloney crisis or get Pubs to trade tax hikes for magic beans.”

Except in this case all the taxes went up Jan 1 to Jan 2 so technically the Obama-McConnnell bill only cut taxes not raised them. The massive lie was that blocking everything kept taxes from going up. Did anyone telling it really believe it?

The House Fwightened Wabbit symbolic vote crowd should have joined together for plan B which had less taxes and no spending.
Rejecting that assured that O-M would write the final bill and they would have no say. which is probably what many wanted anyway .
