So, if anything is to be done, it will have to be done by the politicians. The House has the sole power of impeachment. If the House doesn't impeach, there is no remedy.

The House certifies the election in the first place. Why would the House impeach a President for being ineligible for the thing they said he was eligible for in the first place? So yeah, that's not going to happen.

As far as the Supreme Court goes, nobody ever asked them. They aren't some kind of judicial strike force that can come out an nullify an election because they don't like it.

I believe that the House could impeach a president for being unqualified to serve and I believe that the Supreme Court would refuse to get involved in that decision just as it wants no part of these cases. But, like you say, impeachment isn't likely right now.

If the Supreme Court had wanted to get involved in these cases, they would have. It's impossible for them at this point. if forced, Obama would win 9-0.
