Can we recall/remove the President and Vice president for failure to uphold the Constitution? I bet if there was a way to have a vote on it they would be history. I can dream can’t I?

The 2nd Amendment was put in place for just such a procedure.

I believe it is more of a 'violating the Constitution' that we are dealing with...

Lincoln pulled this kind of crap and became a hero for it. Turned the guns on those who tried to lawfully seceed .I am sure in this day and age it will go down even easier than it did back in in the 1860's.

Gun control is Manifest Destiny and not a shot will be fired it will slip in on little cats feet like the fog in the night

There is nothing to prevent the House from impeaching the President. In fact, the Constitution requires it if they adher to their oath to uphold it.

No problem there.

The problem is the removal which involves getting the Senate to act, which is not remotely possible.

I for one believe that the Republicans in the House have a very strong hand in the threat to impeach Obama. It certainly neutered Clinton when they did it.
