And then we just wanted to get out of there. And then we just ran into my big supply closet… We pulled that door closed. So we were behind two locked doors. And we could just hear the popping continue. And we heard screams. There’s nothing we could do. You know? It was just a helpless, horrible feeling....like a nightmare .... you just think it’s a bad dream.
After some time, I think it was about 11:15, so we had been in that closet for about an hour and a half, I opened the door and I peeked out, ’cause my office has a lot of windows and looks into the courtyard. And I just saw what looked like maybe SWAT people but I didn’t know, you know, who they were. I didn’t know if there were other shooters.
And it wasn’t until 1:15 when I– somebody was jiggling the door. And– but nobody called out. So I decided to be brave enough and open that door into the office and a lot of state police officers were there at that point. And they were very surprised to see me."

Initially, for days, the story was that the shooter used pistols. That changed after everyone started asking why the Med Examiner's story about the wounds being from a rifle, didn't jive with the pistol story.
Initial reports also said it was the rifle found in the trunk. Why do these weapon reports keep changing? It ain't like these officer's are unfamiliar with weapons; or are they? Sorry, but Newtown Connecticut sounds like a town in a Steven King novel - except Steven King novels are more believable.
How would anybody any distance away or even hiding in their classroom with their children be able to pinpoint the shots as coming from the "office area"??? How would someone unfamiliar with the layout of the school know where the "office area" is/was???
There is news copter video on the net showing police approaching the front door at 9:40, and the "office area" is right there within feet of the front door, and at that time he was still shooting. I have yet to find anything to dispute the timeline.

Is there any evidence that he even had that condition? From what I’ve heard, he wasn’t on medications, and I’ve seen no evidence he received any treatment, or even an actual diagnosis from a mental health professional. It all seems to boil down to quotes from people that knew him that had heard or supposed he had that condition.
Too many people nowadays are just declaring that their kids (or themselves) are on the “autism spectrum” for me to swallow that without some documentation.

It would be interesting to locate the Lanza's car in other video/images to determine if the trunk was open. If the trunk wasn't left open by Lanza, I'd call BS on reports of it being located and the trunk opened within 20 mins of dispatch. In the video above, the taping of the shotgun being removed occured after dark and the reporter mentions the gun was found in just the last 30 mins.
SaraJohnson ~ What did you expect her to do? She’s disarmed facing a mad man with a gun(s). I think she did well to save herself in that horror show.
NCLaw441 ~ I agree with you. This nurse was not a first responder. She was not trained for such occurrences. She was a victim even if she was not shot at or shot.
She's a victim twice. Once of the shooter, and forevermore of her own guilt for not doing something to stop it.
yldstrk and I would like to think we would have done better. Realistically, none of us knows if in the heat of the moment we would, unless we've actually been there. She survived. If she had done something more active she doubtless wouldn't have. Perhaps some children who would otherwise have died would live. Perhaps not. We and she will never know.
The difference being we, with our lives and other event intruding, will hardly think of this a year from now.
She will wake up to hearing pops and screams for the rest of her life.

one of the news reports said the shotgun was capable of firing up to 20 rounds...
I am assuming that the handgun[s] that he killed himself with would have been near his body while the rifle may have been tossed away and thus found by itself some distance from his body -- perhaps even in a different room. Thus they would quickly associate the handguns with him but not the rifle initially. They might have thought that since it was found by itself that it had been used by a second shooter and not by Lanza.
I can’t tell from the video what type is, nor does it have a drum mag attached in the video - but that could have been removed.
Would like to see the daylight video if you run across it again.
My question:
Will she cower in the closet when they come for her for her train ride?

If it wasn’t Autism [ASD] or Aspergers or something like that, then why did his mother take him out of school after meeting with school officials and objecting to their plans for him???
I don’t know, I just would like to see some actual confirmation he had that condition and not “some neighbor said they thought he had Aspergers”.
I didn’t even really pay attention to anything in the video- and I can’t remember why I was watching it, to tell the truth, but something that jumped out at me, was there is no weight in that casket. They are supposed to be carrying a full grown, adult woman, full on dead weight in that casket.
I believe that Sandy Hook is a mixture of a FEMA active shooter drill, and Obama/Holder theater, complete with real actors- and a bunch of citizens who are reacting to what they think is a shooting in their community.
There is no proof that anything happened that we are told happened.
I doubt in this day and age of HIPPA that you will get your documentated diagnosis — or atleast anytime soon. The closest you are going to get to it is a family friend or his brother.
BTW Ryan Lanza made that statement to law enforcement not the media. Being that lying to the police is a crime, I doubt he would have said it if he didn’t have reason to believe it to be true.
Okay -- I understand and I sympathize to an extent.
Then where are the 20 children and the 7 adults???
