The victim, another 16-year-old, was airlifted to Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, Calif., with a shotgun wound to the upper right chest. He is in critical but stable condition.

The gunman named a second student in the 28-person class and fired the shotgun again, but missed police said. A teacher and a campus supervisor engaged the shooter in conversation inside the classroom, school officials said, and were able to convince him to put the shotgun down. I coulda swore I heard some liberal the past few days claim gun control works because we hadn’t heard of any school shootings in California. Had no time to look it up but I guess they’ll need to find a new talking point (although it doesn’t matter since truth rarely factors into Democrat talking points)...

Okay, I'm ready to call for it... EVERYONE should carry whether you have a CCW or not, whether it's legal or not. It is your constitutional right and it WOULD reduce the number of innocent deaths that we see when these mad dogs open fire in our schools and places of business. And it would rob the left of these grisly sideshows which they absolutely delight in taking advantage of.

Carry. But be sure to bury lots of your guns. If you're caught, what is it a misdemeanor? Plus they'll probably confiscate any other guns they can find in your house, car, etc.; thus, you must bury. When they release you, go to one of your caches, get another gun and resume continuous carry. If 100 million of us do this, they'll be helpless to stop it.

I'm sorry. But I'm pi**ed. This has got to stop: by which I mean the ever increasing cowardly massacres of innocents, followed by the predictable cowardly attack on our liberties by the hateful left. Carry. Period.
