He is correct. The reason for the Second Amendment IS that governments by their very nature are ALL tyranny’s in waiting. If you don’t believe me stop paying you VOLUNTARY income taxes and see the tyranny brought down on you!
The bottom line of the 2nd Amendment is hot hunting and target practice...it is defense against tyranny. Shapiro drove this point home well without sounding like he was into conspiracy theories.
And, I thought his point about his grandparents (German Jews, IIRC) not being so easily dispatched by the NAZI's if they had been armed was excellent. Another major point IMO was when he said history is replete with Government usurpation of power to the detriment of the citizenry.
