It's all about cultivating boys to be gobble-wallahs later on -- pornoi, rent-boys, chicken dinners, and all the rest.

About the time of the Mathew Shepard beating in 1994, I think it was, two homosexual men kidnapped and sodomized a teenaged boy in Indiana until he died of suffocation, strapped to a bed. (This form of suffocation is exactly what killed men who were crucified.) The media refused to report the story, despite the fact that the two perps had held the kid, Jesse Dirkhising, for over two days while repeatedly raping him.
Brent Bozell finally had literally to corner a Newsweek editor to get an answer out of those people why they refused to run the Dirkhising story and draw the appropriate inferences. Replied the reluctant Newsweek man, archly, "It didn't resonate." I.e., it wasn't "on message".
The IRS is the nations biggest bully.
I was in the 5th grade and started in a new school as we had just moved, it was a bit of a rough neighborhood BTW, one of the girls along with her cohorts decided for no particular reason, other than perhaps I was smart, that they didn’t like me. We were playing dodge ball (yes we still played that back in the early 70’s) and they were relentless in hitting me and me alone with the ball as hard as they could. Then the main bully came up to me and said, “I’m going to beat you up after school. Say anything to the teacher and it will be 10 times worse because I know where you live.” I was terrified. I’d never been in a fight, never had been picked on like that. Long story short, they cornered me just at the edge of school property and the girl and her friend started shoving and punching me while a crowd of kids formed a circle around us. I took it for a while and was crying and then much like Ralphie in A Christmas Story, I reached the point I had had enough and fought back, pretty much creaming the other two girls. They never bothered me again and in fact wanted to be my friend – in which I had no interest.
A teacher found out about the fight, broke it up and soon we were all in the principal’s office with our parents called. My dad was not very happy when he had to come to the school because I had been in a fight, but when he learned what had really happened, he stood up for me for standing up for myself. The principal made us apologize to each other and then issued a strong warning to the two other girls and their parents as these two had been in trouble before. Then he told me to come to him if anyone was harassing me and that while fighting was wrong, defending oneself was not wrong.
But things are a lot different than when you and I were in school. And a lot of the “bullies” are different now too. As I understand, it’s not just some name calling or picking a physical fight from which someone could fight back and it goes well beyond the school yard and school day.
These teenage kids and from what I understand it’s often the girls, verbally stalk their victims relentlessly, often in a barrage of text messages and social media postings. Sure, “sticks and stones” and all that or “just turn off the computer and cell phone”… but it’s hard to ignore or escape from when all the other kids in school and even in a wider circle that includes other kids from other schools are all getting and sending txts and cell phone pictures and FB postings from and to the bullies saying the most vile things about their victims, especially saying things like “so and so” should just kill herself, nobody likes her, she should do her parents a favor and die, she’s a whore, she should be raped, I hear she has AIDS, she’s retarded and so is her mother… some really, really vile stuff that never stops. It wouldn’t be so bad if it were just a few people engaged in this but given how kids now days are connected nearly 24-7 and how wide their virtual social circle is, it becomes sort of a group sport after a time, sometimes with hundreds of kids joining in. And while you would think that the school could do something to stop it, often they can’t.
Even a pretty stable kid is going to be affected by this type of relentless psychological warfare but for a kid who is already feeling the peer pressure to fit in and or a bit of an outcast for whatever reason, or sometimes for no rational reason, it can be devastating.
All that being said, I agree that a lot of these “anti-bullying” campaigns are being used to promote a whole other agenda. But that doesn’t mean that bullying isn’t a problem or that it can be solved by some martial arts training.
Shut ‘em down.
If even one child is saved it will be worth it.

This article articulates well what I have known from the beginning of this “anti-bullying” trend: It’s a way to circumvent the 1st Amendment to shut up those who disagree with have the gay agenda rammed down our throats.
Those used to be societal norms and now they're comparable to hate speech. How many years has it been since the simple game of "Tag" was disallowed in school playgrounds because it blatantly showed that some kids run faster than others? If you teach your child the values you list, expect them to run afould of the law due to some "zero tolerance" program that disallows independent thinking and self sufficiency as complements to a balanced mentality. The emotional cripples have taken over the assylum and they need to be placed in front of mirrors and told exactly what their ailments are. They'll either crumple in shame and ask for help or they'll go absolutely bonkers and go on killing sprees....

I’m 48 I went to tough NY schools and never thought of killing myself when I was “called out” or made fun of. We were tough it was different times. Our children have been make to become pawns of the ACLU. What joke I feel sorry for my children.

Well, we must treat all children with tenderness, even murderers. They are, regardless of anything else, children.
We should treat criminals with respect. And we do, at least we try to. Even death row inmates get respect. Are you confusing tenderness and respect with something else?
But; if we cannot save our country from DOMESTIC terrorists; then we'd better learn a foreign language.
