Here's one in the Democrat's eyes.

Wow, Cool. I have an assault rifle in my closet and didn’t even know it.

Let’s see, 18 round magazine-check. goes bang when the trigger is pulled-check. black-check. Yep, Assault Rifle. Must be the new Marlin AR-60

Here's one in the Democrat's eyes.

People have been busted in New Jersey for having .22LR lever action rifles with tubular magazines that would hold more than ten .22 short rounds, violating their 10 round magazine limit.

Most semi-sane states that have magazine limits exempt rimfires with tubular magazines.

However, the firearm in your picture is a semi-auto, so it is by FrankenSTEIN and UpChuck's standards an assault weapon.

I've heard that some of those things can hold 17 rounds.

It's good that duck huntin' guns come mostly in size 12 while that destructive device with it's short barrel and all in your pic comes in size 22. I'd guess that subsonic rounds might constitute use of a virtual silencer.
