I wonder if he even realizes that these are “defense weapons” when used by innocent law abiding Americans to DEFEND their families and homes. They love to use “assault” to imply that the weapon itself will assault you, when intelligent minds know that it takes a PERSON to assault you, not a weapon.

Smuckey knows, he likes weapons. It has been documented. But he does not think that you and I should be able to own them. Just like the Won who said he did not believe that citizens should be able to own weapons.

If they really were assault weapons, then those police officers and other government agents working on US soil, who actually mean to protect and serve would find no use for them whatsoever. Then again, if they are in fact the weapons of choice for criminals, terrorists, and assassins, then which, pray tell, of these categories, are all the officers who use them on the job?
