NRA needs to have its OWN press conference with children

NRA should have an event with children and speeches, and make to the American people a very simple statement: “We mourn the loss of 20 children in Connecticut. But it’s time for Americans to ask how many children died in nations in which the citizens allowed the government to disarm them, and in which the government later became violently oppressive. The answer is that tens of millions of children died, in cultures as different as Germany and Cambodia, The Soviet Union and Africa, and South America and China. America is not immune from such a horrific turn of events, especially given the recent political developments in our country. Gun control puts every American child at risk in the long run.”

I included the URL for the Washington Examiner article regarding you-know-who's press conference tomorrow, in which children will be used as props to further the totalitarian agenda, and have people willingly surrender their rights. The wishy-washy "center" needs to realize that firearms in the hands of civilians keeps everyone free.

What the NRA needs to do is to have a press conference with Melinda Herman and her kids and tell how they might have been killed if she hadn’t shot the man who broke into their home.
