Posted on 01/16/2013 5:11:36 PM PST by Olog-hai
Paul Krugman, a liberal economist and New York Times columnist, said increased government spending is key to economic recovery.
During an interview on Friday on Moyers & Company, on PBS, Bill Moyers asked, And you argue that this could actually be solved in two years?

Krugman is a retard, he has to be
Of course, because it has worked so well the last four years. Krugman is a prime example of why Nobel prizes are absolutely worthless.
Trust me. We're just inches away from paradise.
Three card monte played for the brain dead.
$800 billion was wasted on Porkulus with no stimulus resulting.
Recall that Hillary Clinton opposed tax cuts and rebates because the public would “just waste the money”.
Government has shown no sense in the handling of money. If it wasn’t for payoffs, there would be no rhyme or reason to their squandering of the public wealth.
And in two years he’ll say it’ll just take two more years, rinse, repeat until be dies of old age blaming why nothing ever got better on anything except himself.
Well, we have a winner.
For the dumbest statement of 2013.
Gawd Awl Mighty. It’s hard to swim with a 40 lb dumbells chained to your neck. It won’t get any easier if you add another 20 pounds.
But I’d like to see Krugman prove me wrong in a very deep lake a long way from shore.
And then another $800 billion was spent again in each succeeding year. I think that’s why the Senate has not passed a budget since the Stimulus was passed.
Well, not really. Nothing surprises me from this current crop of Socialist scum.
Maybe just maybe if I run up my credit cards to the max, MY economy will improve!
Wow, why didn’t I think of that! What genius!
Sure Krugman, and the Moon is made of green cheese too...Idiot.
“increased government spending is key to economic recovery”
Tough argument to rebut: If increased spending doesn’t result in recovery, then we must not have spent enough money.
“There must be more money.” The Rockinghorse Winner, DH Lawrence
Tough for retards, that is. We’re living the movie.
QED: Must. Spend. More. Plants love Brawndo. Why? Because it has electrolytes.
Do you even know what electrolytes are? Uh, it’s the stuff in Brawndo that plants crave.
Does a hobby horse have a hickory dick? I’ll `hickory dick’ your face.
Hey let’s go to Starbucks! Now’s not the time Not ...
“It didn’t work because not enough was spent...”
May they have their way...
Krugman, the delusional marxist, might, with years of psychotherapy, regain some sanity.
Then, on the other hand, he just might be so insane that even a frontal lobotamy wouldn’t help. Couldn’t hurt, though!
You can't get more out of a system than you put in it.
Priming the pump still costs. Somebody will have to pay.
Just to put government spending in perspective....
With just the deficit portion of the federal spending in the past 4 years ($6 Trillion), the fed could have cut checks to every single living human in the United States (regardless of age) for about $19,000. In my house, the guvmnt would have paid me about $76,000.
Some of those mamas without baby-daddys would be rich.
Krugman is just plain stupid.
Barking moonbats like him are stupid. And they spend most of their time patting themselves on the back about how effin “smart” they are.
And he gets his bona fides from other a$$hats like him, who know nothing, but profess to be superior intellects.
I went to NYU. They HATED ME. I KNOW FOR A FACT that the Krugmans of the world are so stupid, I don’t know how they get dressed in the morning.
Then I realized that probably their mommas help them. Its the only thing I can think of.
Krugman is a moron. What has changed from the last 4 years?
Is he arguing that 32+ trillion$ total national debt will be an "improvement?"
Definition of insanity : Trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
Talk to your esteemed statesman, Willie Clinton, Krugman. He loved to use that phrase.
“Krugman is a retard, he has to be”
No, the powers that be just know that if people really understood the scale of what has been done to them the civil unrest they fear down the road would be here now - today. Pretending there is a light at the end of the tunnel is just a stalling tactic while individuals are disarmed/de-fanged.
As a white man, the government has had official policies for years that were a de facto declaration of war (affirmative action); these policies have reduced the white birthrate to a trickle, and disenfranchised a whole generation. The United States has been sold.
You could stimulate this economy for years and it would not pick up. The problem is the government regulations and policies won't let it up off the ground.
When economic conditions are right it will accept a stimulus and expand. This is why marxists economies always fail.
Think I’m lying?
GSAS baby, knew you and knew how dumb you were.
You're brilliant, Krug. With the great recovery we've seen from the out-of-control spending the last five years, just imagine how much greater things will be with two more years of breaking the bank!
Krugman knows there is a huge energy boom happening and he wants obastard and other Marxist scum to get the credit for what that generates for the US.
According to this, if I am broke, I can just go out and write checks for stuff. Before I know it, my household income will be increased and I will no longer be broke.
Oh please. I suppose we only need to keep affirmative action for another, what, 50 years too?
The only way this bad economy will be turned around in two years will be by WWIII. Of course, CWII could possibly nullify the debt...
“Dang. That kerosene we dumped on the fire didn’t put it out. We need to dump more kerosene on it.”
I just have to assume that he’s simply mocking himself at this point.
No one could be this stupid.
I wish this mental patient would just off himself already.
Deliberate destruction of the currency through deficit spending, debt, and inflation is a purpose for this nonsense in its own right.
Exactly. Obammie the Commie proposed absurd budgets for the past four years and the Dims gladly rejected them because if a budget is not passed, the preceding budget is the de facto budget, which has included every year for the past four years that initial 800 billion.
It must be true because he got a Nobel Prize just like Algore, Barack Obama and Yassar Arafat.
So it IS Bush’s fault! How convienient. The bastards...
Fun fact: Before Marx there were Socialist utopians who believed a higher form of man would develop under socialism, that everyone should live in commune’s and that they would reject sexual relationships lol... Marx thought they were loons and would discredit his ‘work’ so he tried to silence them.
My bad. I forgot Bush’s 2008 budget to the Democratic Congress was DOA. He wasn’t the one who signed the 2009 budget. Obama did. But Bush was blamed for it.
Of course it would. Just like it did the first time. Or not...
By the time Porkulus is paid off it will add a couple trillion to the national debt.

If true, we would already be in High Cotton.
The same idea has worked for years for people facing bankruptcy. Let’s spend some more money and we’ll be fine! If you’re an economist and this makes sense, something is wired wrong. For the record, my major is in Econ.
I’d like to round up all the Keyensians and take them to Vegas. I’d force the house to give me a commission on what they lose since they love to double down all the time! lol
Porkulus = more jobs for China, more debt for US.
Sure thing Krugman, I wonder if we should double the spending and make it in one year?
What could possibly go wrong? Fool.
Government spending will do the same thing FDR did!
Extend a one year depression into 12 years!!!
