I was just thinking that. Watched part of the conspiracy video going around, which contends the rifle was found in the car. I thought the way a cop was working the action was wrong for an AR15; this shotgun's design explains that movement. A recurring point of conspiracy theories is the presumption that tenuous information gathered in haste is perfect and complete, and that the theorist's understanding thereof is perfect and complete.
