A perfect waste of good whiskey. Should have returned the bottles filled with rubbing alcohol.

There is a name for people that can tell the ever so slight differences in various whiskey and scotch bottles................ALCOHOLICS.

Why don't you lighten up a bit! Not everyone who enjoys an occasional shot of whiskey or scotch is an alcoholic.

I suppose I like a good Scotch as much as anyone, but have a bit of a problem considering it to merit a "proper resting place".
If you are not familiar with the acomplishments and feats of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton it is worth your time to look him up. Particularly his exploits as Captain of the expedition ship “Endurance”.
He was a true leader and a real hero - the kind of man rarely seen today.
Especially in western culture in positions of leadership where Nancy Boys, punks and she-men are in vogue.

Shackleton’s venture was indeed one of man’s great accomplishments.
I kind of doubt the Scots need to 'recreate the recipe' to make scotch whisky...though IIRC the whisky they found there a few years back was some rather pedestrian blended malt - and who would want to recreate that when much better malt is available today?

Agreed. It was a class act. I read as a young man the story of Shackelton’s escape and was thrilled at the heroism of Shackelton and his men. Where Shackelton started his journey IS the proper resting place for the Scotch. I hope those putting the Scotch to rest gave Shackelton’s memory three stout cheers.
