Yesterday's panoply of faces and events reminded me of my top six pet peeves that seem to pop up on television seemingly for centuries. We never seem to get rid of these annoying assaults on our eyes and ears....even when we think we're done with them, there they are still hanging in there and still irritating us by their mere presence.
To wit (in no special order):
Colin Powell
Juan Williams
Bill Clinton
Lamar Alexander
Carl Rove
Any TV spokesman for the mesothelioma commercials
Just GO AWAY! I'm tired of looking at all of you!
I don't think I'll live long enough to see them all gone....a certain dogged staying power being their forte, unfortunately.

Ditto to each point you made (#22?). I
I've come to realize that TV "news" is a detriment to enjoying the
time I have left on earth. CLICK!
While surfing on the car radio, during The Won’s speech yesterday, it took less than 30 seconds, before I thought of Hitler. Why? I just finished reading “In the Garden of Beast”. The telling via real correspondence of Hitler's moves in 1932-34, as related by the American Ambassador to Berlin - his Nazi loving daughter, etc. Germany was slow cooked and then dead. God help the USA!
(The film was a completely different P.O.V.)
