What are the demographics of Texas, and what are they projected to be in four years?

RE: 12 - that really is not dissimilar to the California map. About 80% of the land mass is red, the problem is that the large urban areas of San Francisco and LA (as well as the State Capitol - Sacramento) are solid blue. The Texas map shows Dallas, Austin, and Houston as being blue, but fortunately they are outnumbered - for now - by the folks elsewhere.
