No, but you would think a private Christian one would be. Also, you would hope churches would have groups.

I wish I had time to start something, but with 2 kids dealing with issues and my husband having cancer, I’m swamped.

When kids are young, there are all sorts of groups. My daughters were in all sorts of activities. Then high school comes along, and there is nothing. By the time I realized there was a problem, she’s already a sophomore.

Wow! Your plate is certainly full! That's a lot to deal with.

Maybe, the homeschooling groups would let your girls participate in their activities? (Just a suggestion. ) Given your family's health situation they might even have members willing to pick-up and drop-off your girls.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Look at the economics of the education-industrial complex for a reason why the churches don’t step up to the challenge.

Why?

Answer: Government schooling, in many of our counties ( maybe even most), are the single largest employer with the most employees and largest payroll that far exceeds any private business in the county! Then add to this all the vendors and contractors and their employees that service the education-industrial complex.

So?....With so many school employees, government school vendors and their employees sitting in the pews how many ministers are willing to bite the hand that puts money in the collection plate? And...How many ministers even have spouses that work for the socialist-entitlement government schools?

Don’t look for help from the churches.
