“I prefer the other ideas suggested by posters herecreate a whole fighting unit of only women, and send em into battle as a ground fighting unit.”
Indeed. Let’s see how they like it.
“It is the same crap in public lifethey want equality, but the door held for em. They would prefer to be in combat with males to drag/carry their ass outta trouble, yet they could not perform that for a male.”
I find that feminists want it both ways. To be treated just like a guy when they want to and to be treated better than a guy when they want to.
“Whatever happened to common sense?”
Obama and his fellow travellers declared it a “hate crime”
“Our enemies must be laughing at us.”
It’s sad to say this but why shouldn’t they be?
Shouldn’t these Mohadmmedan dudes be laughing with joy over this news?
my son, who is military, is telling me that the intent is not really to get the ladies in the grunt jobs in a platoon, but to get the west point and rotc ladies into the platoon leaders’ slots.
As he said it, it made sense. They’re trying to get them into a slot where they can lead from behind, but still get credit for having checked that box. Then they can get them in company command slots with even more cover with leading from behind. After that, the battalion slots for majors as XOs and S3s are more about paperwork and less about leadership, and an LTC battalion command can again be hidden as an HQ warrior.
Of all those jobs from platoon through battalion on the commissioned side, the true leaders do not lead from the rear. They are eyes and ears throughout the company/battalion’s area of responsibility.
So, you get led(?) by a short young thing who maxes her strength portion of her pt test at a level that gets only a 60-70% score for a male, a level that gets laughed at in a line unit. You get a lady who’s absent when the fur flies, and you get a leader(?) who is really a manager who is checking a box.
