They should have just titled it, “Let’s give up on personal freedom”, or “Just let your betters enslave you”.

I’m tired of “these people.” That’s the only way I can put it without delving into a string of obscenities that will get me reprimanded here. I’m to the point where sometimnes I think we should just says, “OK, let’s go to the alley/parking lot and rumble.”

So can I stop my paying my taxes?
Can I shoot liberal politicians?

If the Constitution means nothing - then nothing done in its name is legitimate either.

They’re going to take our government because no one in a position to stop them is going too. :(:(:(:(:(

Disturbing that CBS (and the NYT) is bold enough to run this opinion. :(:(:(:(

We have REALLY gone down hill. :(:(:(:(:(

This is our country. We live in it, and we have a right to the kind of country we want.

Who's the "our" and the "we"?

Yeah let’s get rid of that doggone “freedom of the press” thing, it’s so outdated. Everyone now knows that the truth doesn’t matter and CBW et al are just mouthpieces for tyrants.

So let’s get rid of that, what could the Framers have known 200 years ago about Cronkite and Rather, right?

Lefties must beware of the many millions of invisible men walking among you

Tyranny historically has had huge consequences.....

Does the left think they are “special” and “immune”?

This Seidman is a total jerk, but it's hardly shocking that CBS, the network of Dan Rather, would make him into a media celebrity.

Fortunately, the framers of the Constitution had a heck of a lot more intelligence and common sense than he has. Without the Constitution as a framework for republican government and the supreme law of the land, there would never have been a United States as we know it (or more accurately as we knew it). Instead, we would be just like any other of the many dictatorships that have been the curse of mankind throughout recorded history, rather than a uniquely benign society devoted to liberty, prosperity and dignity of the citizen.

What difference does it make if Obama isn't a natural born citizen? Hey, Seidman, just look around you. The framers of the Constitution sensed that a President without unquestioned American roots might well act counter to the interests of the United States, and, as Obama's rash disregard for the country and its Constitution has proved, the framers had keen foresight.

I can see some advantages here.

The US Constitution is the charter document of the United States. You join the USA by signing on to it. End the Constitution, you dissolve the Union.

Since there is little common ground left, it would be nice if red and blue could go their own ways.

If we’re serious about saving out country, the first shot should be to deprive the Media companies of income.

Satellite TV and cable TV must lose their funding. We don’t control them and we can’t change them. Why give money to Obama’s henchmen and women?

If not for the media, it is likely there never would have been a president Obama.

Let’s give up on marxism and all those who support it by whatever name. I will keep to the Constitution. Anyone who does not or will not is a traitor to the Republic. Shout it from the rooftops using every media outlet there is. Use the own despicable Alinsky tactics against them. There is no place in our republic for them and their ideology. Freedom of speech is one thing; subversion is quite another.
