“The patriot majority within the US military would quickly arrest, detain, and even execute those who were intent upon firing upon their own countrymen, quickly followed by the arrest and imprisonment of all those in the chain of command (elected civilians included) who had anything to do with it.”

Don’t mince words — you’re talking “military coup” here.

I sense the Obmmunists are worried about this, as well. Is it any coincidence that we’re seeing so many high-ranking military officers “retired”? Any coincidence about the rumored “loyalty oaths” (i.e., “would you fire on Americans if so ordered?”)?

Waco already is in the history books. What makes you so certain that we won’t see this repeated — perhaps numerous times in the future?

The Waco incident was the federal leviathan against one small and isolated group of adults and children. Let them try that on the whole city of Waco and see what happens. They'd be decimated by the massive retaliatory force they'd meet.

Now multiply that over hundreds of cities and towns across the country (or even one specific region) and you can see the application of federal armed force against the civilian population is a ridiculous notion, and something they'll never try.

“Waco already is in the history books.”

So is Oklahoma City.
