You are a political illiterate and obviously think you're eventually going to be able to create Heaven on Earth and it is NEVER going to happen. We must go for the best we can get. You are the friend of liberalism and you make Democrats' jobs easier.

Do you understand the necessity of a Republican majority? Do you realize how this sausage is made?

There's only ONE strategy that pays off in the long run and that is Wm F. Buckley's strategy of always voting for the most conservative THAT CAN WIN!! Winning is everything, without it, we have nothing.

If you like Democrat majorities, keep doing what you're doing because you're electing Democrats.

I have no intention of creating heaven on earth. I’m just wise to the old game because I am not a political illiterate. I’ve seen the same game for years. Elect moderates they tell us. They can win. We need the republican votes so we can control the agenda. And what happens. Republicans controlled the senate from 81-87 and the moderates backstabbed and joined the democrats. Then they controlled it again under Dole and Lott and they too undermined the conservatives. Then I see Mitch McConnell also undermining conservatives. But give Old Mitch more of his type you say. Elect Mike Castle and Lisa Murkowski, re-elect John McCain and Lindsay Graham. George Voinovich and Mike Dewine. Jim Jeffords and Arlen Specter. All the types that prevented Bush’s tax cuts from becoming permanent, joined the democrats in blocking judges and other nominees and in passing worthless treaties. Oh and thank you Olympia Snowe for getting Obamacare out of committee. And then of course she voted against it on the floor to try to fool her constituents.

I’m no political illiterate. Quite the contrary. I know how the game works and I’m not playing anymore. The game of theirs is “let’s make sure a moderate is nominated. If a conservative is challenging, then split the vote to make our guy win. And if a conservative actually gets the nomination, let’s destroy him so he’ll lose the general.” I want to see the worthless moderates lose elections so they won’t be nominated anymore. The democrats have nominated militant leftist after militant leftist. And moderate republicans just don’t have the stomach to battle them. Conservatives do. They’re the only ones who actually fight the democrats. So we need more of them. You may vote for everybody with an “r” next to their name but they’ll need to earn my vote. And if they get it and betray it, they’ll never get it again.

I’m willing to stand on principle and back it with action, or inaction as the case may be. The republican caucus in the senate is much more conservative thanks to those like me who are willing to fight and withhold support should those in office go liberal.
