For a journalist, selective editing is no different than plagarism or making up a story.

If a journalist does this, he/she should be fired and should be black-balled from ever getting another job with any other reputable news concern.

The 4th Estate lives and dies on its credibility - it should not tolerate this in any shape or form ...

Of course they should be, but in this F*up MSM world this kind of thing is an accomplishment worthy of a resume enhancement.

These people are scum! They are going to rue the day they decided to shun their own standards!

You're harkening back to a time when the press was respected and trusted... I doubt anyone at working at NBC after Tim Russert died would understand your comments. Russert was old school.
